Our copper solder fittings conform to standard ASME B 16.22.
The lead-free wrought copper solder fitting is used in residential and commercial systems such as potable water, air conditioning and refrigeration. The fitting provides a means of changing the pipeline direction or size. It is used when velocity is not a problem.
Use soft solder or hard solder (brazing alloy). The solder joint is created through the principal of capillary action, when the fitting and tube is assembled and heated to the appropriate temperature, solder becomes molten and is drawn into the gap between tube and fitting for a durably reliable joint.
